The premise of Fine Food Hunter is that there are many more delightful foods and tastes in the world than most of us know about. My name is Ari and from a young age, I’ve always enjoyed finding and learning about foods. That came to me in a variety of ways, from shopping with my grandfather in NYC specialty markets to foraging for mushrooms and berries in the backwoods of Finland with my grandmother. I’m amazed by the diversity of flavors that can be found from so many places, whether specialty stores, farmers markets, coffee roasters, creameries, or even what we can grow at home. In my spare time, you’ll find me checking out new markets and popups locally, traveling to experience new flavors, and working in my fruit/vegetable gardens at home growing new things and enjoying the flavors of the sun and soil.
